Zünd UK to unveil new level of automation and productivity at drupa

Zünd at drupaA brand new Zünd digital cutting system will be unveiled at drupa, from May 31 to June 10 in Düsseldorf, Germany, offering a whole new level of automation and productivity.

With many Zünd customers using their robust, Swiss-engineered machines on double shifts and even for 24/7 operation, there is an ever increasing demand for even better automation and higher productivity. The new Zünd system achieves just that, while retaining above-standard safety levels and Zünd’s famous modular tooling composition.

Details of the ultra high-performance system are being kept under wraps until its launch at drupa, but Zünd UK expects delegates to the stand – Hall 9, Booth C05 – to be very impressed by the latest design. Zünd UK personnel will be at the show guiding print and packaging professionals through the machine’s new features and applications while performing demonstrations to prove its position as a market leader.

“We’re very excited about this latest Zünd model and fully expect to cause a stir at drupa,” said Peter Giddings, sales director, Zünd Plotting Systems (UK).

“Zünd systems are an excellent investment with our customers consistently reporting significantly increased productivity and resulting profits. This new development takes that potential even further.

“It marks the beginning of a new era for digital cutting technology, where Zünd users can multiply their productivity with no additional effort on their part. Our system’s next-generation automation and efficiency is all they need.”

The new machine is complemented by Zünd Cut Center (ZCC), the company’s own software suite, now with new features such as a powerful nesting module and user-definable register marks. ZCC controls every element of the digital finishing process from one place, aiding efficiency and throughput speeds through seamless data flow.
