Xeikon to display an array of digital print applications at IPEX 2017

At IPEX 2017, October 31 to November 3, at the NEC in Birmingham, Stand D410, Xeikon will showcase its full portfolio of digital printing solutions for the graphic arts, label and packaging industries. Xeikon experts will share updates on its latest technological developments, inform visitors of its newest products and highlight a wide range of printing applications.

“IPEX is a great opportunity to inform and advise UK printing businesses on the numerous label, packaging and graphic arts end-user applications that can be profitably produced with Xeikon’s digital printing solutions. We look forward to meeting visitors to discuss ways to do things differently, expand service offerings and add value, profitability and efficiency to print production,” says Duncan Sargeant, Xeikon area sales manager. “We are committed to supporting the UK printing industry, and events like IPEX, where we can meet and share knowledge with UK printers, which is a vital part of our direct, personal approach.”

As one of the leading suppliers of digital printing technology, Xeikon develops solutions that allow customers to deal with challenges in their own way. That is why the company offers a wide range of digital technologies for a range of end-use applications, such as short-run wallpaper, quality photobooks, security features for documents, high-end labels for spirits, food-safe labels, pharmaceutical leaflets and folding carton packaging.

Xeikon digital printing specialists will be on hand to inform IPEX visitors of the latest Xeikon solutions in both the dry toner and UV inkjet segments. This includes the Xeikon CX500 digital label press, which is based on a new generation dry toner platform that is ready for Industry 4.0. Suitable for large label sizes, and labels requiring an opaque white or an extended colour gamut, features on the Xeikon CX500 such as its web width (of up to 520mm), full rotary printing technology, and 30m/min printing speed all improve its productivity.

The Xeikon Panther Series of UV inkjet digital label presses have also recently been launched. This includes the high-end Xeikon PX3000 and entry-level Xeikon PX2000, both in a four-colour and five-colour configuration. These presses run patented PantherCure UV inks, which use a combination of LED and Mercury UV lights for curing.
