WIP UK UNEARTHS THE MACRO TRENDS BEHIND PACKAGING INNOVATION

Women In Packaging (WIP UK) Co-Founder and pack expert, Joanna Stephenson, will unearth the macro trends that drive today’s contemporary packaging and labels market at the leading Food & Drink Process & Packaging event, Pro2Pac.

Joanna will highlight the importance of macro trends in relation to the growing prominence of the sustainability debate and expose their significance to the packaging industry. She will talk to upcoming trends and provide insight into the latest social, economic, technology, fashion & design and environmental trends from across the globe.

Joanna commented: “While sustainability is prominent within the consumer psyche today, there are a number of consistent trends driving the packaging and print market place that brands and retailers need to take heed of. From technology to the rise of the millennial, the impact on packaging design and development is significant.”

Joanna’s talk will be held at Pro2Pac’s Outside the Box theatre at 12 pm on March 20, 2019. Other speakers include Andrew Large, Director General of the Confederation of Paper Industries, Dick Searle, CEO of The Packaging Federation and Philip Chadwick, Editor of Packaging News, discussing issues such as Brexit, plastics, sustainability and recycling.
