Warren Board announces new supply agreement

Warren Board Sales Ltd has made a significant investment in equipment purchased from Reno De Medici (RDM) UK’S Wednesbury plant and entered into a merchant supply agreement for both reels and sheets of the Group’s market leading liner grade Serviliner.

Warren Board Sales Ltd has made a significant investment in equipment by purchasing the machinery from Reno De Medici (RDM) UK’S Wednesbury plant and entered into a merchant supply agreement for both reels and sheets of the Group’s market leading liner grade Serviliner.
Over the next few weeks Warren Board will begin moving the machinery to a newly acquired facility in Wednesbury in the West Midlands from which they will be able to offer an enhanced range of services including reel-to-sheet, rewinding and guillotining as well as additional storage capacity. The new facility will operate under the name Warren Converters Limited.
In addition to this purchase Warren Board has also acquired a significant volume of Cartonboard stock, all of which is now available to view on its website.
Alternative supply arrangements have already been set up to ensure that existing RDM UK customers will continue to have access to Serviliner during this transfer process.
“As an independent company with access to a far wider range of products than were available to RDM UK, we believe we will be able to introduce a service offering that is second to none in the industry, thereby increasing opportunities for both customers and suppliers alike,” comments managing director Kieran Ferguson.
This investment comes on the back of the announcement in January that Warren Board has joined the AIMS Group, the UK’s largest independent merchant consortium. This latest development represents the next stage of Warren’s growth plans.
With a 37 year trading history and operating from 100,000 square foot premises in Glenfield, Leicestershire, Warren Board Sales employs a team of around 30 staff with a combined industry experience of over 300 years across its team.
