DG press successfully installed the first two Thallo web offset printing presses at its customers’ facilities in the Netherlands and Belgium. Both of the launching customers are running full production with the machines.

Fellow director Peter Kloppers said: “We are very proud of the fact that both customers are satisfied. One of our customers is already working in two shifts for its jobs printed on the Thallo.

“Remember that DG press started in 2009 servicing Drent Goebel machines. In six years we have now successfully shown the world our manufacturing capabilities. DG press has grown from a service provider with 12 ex- Drent Goebel employees to a company that builds new generation sleeve web offset printing presses, with a team of over 70 employees.”

The Thallo of Vuye Flexible Packaging was shown at the Open House event of DG press in June and was The first Thallo to be installed. At this event, a third Thallo printing press was sold to a Russian customer. This press will be shown at DG press’ facility during the drupa 2016 event. Wesselink Drukwerk recently held an Open House to present their new Thallo. Both customers are happy with their added production capacity.

DG press closely monitors the production process of its two launching customers. Fellow Director Remko Koolbergen said: “We use a system with live connection to the printing press to check the current status of the machine. These statistic, such as the speed of the machine, are shown on two screens at our office. This makes it possible for DG press to quickly see if both Thallo printing presses are running at that moment.”
