The Label Makers appoints new business development manager

Leading label manufacturer, The Label Makers, has appointed Dan Wilson as business development manager. His role is intended to strengthen the sales team and extend the company’s presence in the Midlands and southern England.

In a career spanning 25 years, with the majority spent in the drinks industry working for a range of national brand owners, small startup distilleries, main UK retailers and contract bottlers. Mr Wilson brings a great deal of sales and commercial experience to the appointment, particularly of the BWS sector.

His position will require him to represent the business externally, maintaining and developing new and existing customer accounts. He will be responsible for liaising with both new and existing customers from an initial enquiry through to new product development and customer site visits thereafter.

I have known and worked with The Label Makers for a number of years across mutual customers and always respected their knowledge, production results and levels of service. A business that has an accolade of awards, with a great team of people who always put the needs of the customer first,” said Mr Wilson.

“I’m really looking forward to continuing to work within the BWS sector and further developing my expertise in the key markets of toiletries, health supplements, food, household and industrial, decorative coatings and personal care. I’m enjoying the diversity and creativity of producing labels, irrespective of the product category, and bringing them ‘to life’ through the application of embellishments and tactile finishes.”

The Label Makers’ Ben Robinson added: We are delighted to have Dan on board. As well as making an important contribution to our business growth plans, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that will be of great benefit to the business and our customers.
