InPrint 2017, the exhibition for industrial print technology, has begun!

From today (November 14) until Thursday (November 16), 153 exhibitors from 19 countries will present the latest technologies and developments in the industrial printing sector at the Munich Trade Fair Centre, Germany.

At InPrint 2017, international companies will demonstrate modern technologies, machines, components and component parts as well as services for functional and decorative printing and packaging printing. Speciality, screen, digital and inkjet print are the four key areas of InPrint. Visitors are able to discover innovative technologies and the latest processes for printing on metal, plastics, textile, glass, ceramics, wood and other surfaces. InPrint is exclusively dedicated to industrial print as part of the manufacturing process: from functional print for automotive components, household appliances, printed electronics, textiles and packaging to decorative printing on surfaces such as floor coverings and furniture.

Industry experts will explore the possibilities that industrial print technology is opening up for manufacturing in a range of industries and present a series of case studies and practical examples. Attendees will learn more about manufacturing trends like personalisation of objects, mass customisation, variable data and on-demand production, strategies for implementing new printing processes, the most promising manufacturing markets, and ways to generate new revenue streams.

Each conference day highlights a key area of print applications:

  • Tuesday: Décor — Innovative processes and technologies for the decorative design of various surfaces and wall coverings with a focus on individualisation.
  • Wednesday: Function — Technological developments in speciality, screen, digital and inkjet for functional printing in the automotive and packaging industries and many more.
  • Thursday: Packaging — Trends, techniques and applications for printing on primary and secondary packaging, with a focus on the individualisation of packaging.

In addition, there will be a wide range of presentations and talks by leading technology providers such as Agfa Graphics, FujiFilm, Global Inkjet Systems and Heidelberger Druckmaschinen
