For the first time, a series of seminars dedicated to innovative packaging and converting solutions within the flat die and blown film industries will be held alongside Interplas UK this year.
Delegates will have a choice between morning and afternoon seminar sessions – organised by process machinery giants Bandera, in co-operation with their UK agents UK Extrusion – that will run during two of the three Interplas UK exhibition days at the NEC in Birmingham.
Guest speakers at the events include ExonMobil who will be commenting on new performance polyethylene solutions for flexible packaging, Maguire, talking about integrated gravimetric blending and extrusion control, and international cooling experts Eurochiller presenting on pursuing perfection in blown film cooling. With many other contributors from across the industry, the seminars are a valuable contribution to Interplas UK, especially visitors involved with film and sheet processing.
Carlo Pattini from Bandera’s blown film technology centre will present on the latest trends in flexible film extrusion for the packaging and converting industry. His colleague Gabriele Murano, who will be discussing innovative technologies for rigid packaging solutions, will join him.
Steve Trainor, UK Extrusion, is excited by the prospect of adding value to Interplas UK, for anyone in the film and sheet industry. He says, “Interplas UK is set to be a huge event this year and Bandera, alongside ourselves, were anxious to take part. We decided that a series of highly informative, easy to visit seminars alongside the main event would be both useful and innovative.”
Andrea Rigliano, general sales and marketing director, Bandera, is equally enthusiastic: “We are delighted to bring top class companies to take part in our seminars, which we intend to be an opportunity for delegates to network with one another, exchanging views and ideas. It is so easy to attend one of our sessions for half a day as part of a visit to the Interplas UK exhibition.”
