“It seems that the drupa show has been a long time coming, but now all of a sudden it’s just round the corner! With over 1,600 companies from all corners of the converting/printing/packaging industry filling 19 exhibition halls, details are quickly emerging of the new and existing technology solutions that will be on show. You can keep up-to-date on the latest developments here on the Converter website, on our Twitter page and of course in our magazine issues as well!
“Print, packaging production, multichannel, 3D printing, functional printing and green printing are some of the main themes of this year’s show; print 4.0 is another, allowing for personalisation of digital printing networks – a key trend in today’s modern age where printers and machine operators want to work remotely and want instant access to feedback data from their entire production line.
“I’m very much looking forward to attending the show myself this year, along with my colleague Pippa Dugmore. I’m hoping to stop by as many stands as possible (although there will be hundreds that I sadly won’t make it to!) to reconnect with people and learn more about each of the different companies.
I hope to see many of you there! If you are interested in arranging a meeting at the show, or if you have news you would like to share ahead of the show, don’t hesitate to get in touch!”
