Second investment in cutting and box-making machines for UK-based materials supplier

Europa Industries, the Lincolnshire, UK-based supplier of industrial materials, has announced the installation of an Autobox and Multicut boxmaker from British Converting Solutions (BCS).

With over 30 years trade experience, the Europa company, which prides itself on its excellent customer service, quick job turn around and being able to offer the right product for the customer’s needs, has invested in BCS’s Autobox and Multicut just 12 months after an original investment in a traditional two pass, three piece box making system.

Gary Spencer, managing director of Europa, commented: “We noticed that not only was there a saving to be made by producing our own boxes in house, we could shorten lead times by around 50 per cent in most cases and have greater control of jobs coming in and out.

“Off the back of the two pass system, we were able to enhance our product line, package them correctly, reduce returns and shorten customer lead time, and we are confident that this newer model will really push us forward.”

Arran Sethi, UK sales manager for BCS, added: “The Autobox and Multicut module will enable Europa to complete designs in one pass by being able to cut stock board to width and length. The Autobox is known for its impressive automatic set up of jobs, which typically take around 60 seconds. For a company like Europa, this machine is the ideal fit.”

The Autobox is a modular design that can be personalised to consist of other functions, such as; Automatic feed, Diecut hand holes, Flexo print, Muti-Out and Automatic stack. Internationally sold, the Autobox name is synonymous with the short run market for merchants, sheet plants or end users.
