Royston Labels produces new Eco Soapia designer label

Royston Labels ArtistRoyston Labels has converted a piece of artwork, created by Devon-based artist David A Smith, in to a new label for ethical soap brand, Eco Soapia. The intricate design pushes the boundaries of conventional label manufacture; however, using its latest technology Royston has easily replicated the design to produce an outstanding label solution.

The designer label is a completely new look for Eco Soapia and reflects the company’s ethical values and traditional roots. Smith was selected to create the design, not only for his talent, but his shared principles, lending further credibility to the brand design.

To complement the superior fine detail of the design, Royston Labels’ incorporated cold foiling as its preferred method of production. Combined with the very latest flexo printing plate technology, this ensured the project was completed without complication and with impressive results.

The company’s technical manager, Phil Bradnam, said: “The final appearance of the label is spectacular: soft subtle pastel tones with an in-keeping foil shade, complemented by a smooth satin-type finish.”

On the conclusion of the project, Steve Chasen of Eco Soapia, added: “The challenge for us was to take David A Smith’s intricate design and realise it on a flat label. It was vital that the label truly replicated the stunning artwork and Royston Labels has delivered on all counts.”
