QC Flexible Packaging rebrands to Terinex Flexibles with plans for rapid growth

QC Packaging Films Ltd, (previously trading as QC Flexible Packaging) has been fully renamed and rebranded to Terinex Flexibles Ltd six years after being acquired by The OGM Group. The company specialises in the design and print of flexible packaging - film, paper and foil-based products - for the food, medical and pet food industries.

The Terinex brand, owned by parent company Owen Greenings & Mumford (Holdings), is well-known in the catering supplies sector for its pioneering ovenable packaging solutions. Similarly, innovation is at the core of QC Flexible Packaging which was the first UK flexible packaging company to be certified by PIRA (now Smithers) for hot needle perforation of PET film with ovenable inks.

Paul Wightman, group managing director of Owen Greenings & Mumford (Holdings) says: “We have ambitious plans to grow Terinex Flexibles to a £25m business over the next few years. To do this we will be investing heavily in our print facilities and new capital equipment, including a new flexographic printing press. We will also be expanding our team, with plans to double our headcount in the next two to three years.

“The Terinex brand has a great heritage built on quality, service and innovation. This, combined with its wider reach, adds significant value that will support our rapid growth over the next few years.”

Terinex Flexibles creates film, paper and laminated materials with bold designs and vibrant flexographic print finishes to make packaging with special barrier, ovenable, resealable and sustainable properties. Customers include leading brand owners, manufacturers, packaging designers and retailers in the food, medical and pet food industries.

Simon Smith, sales director of Terinex Flexibles, says: “We pride ourselves on offering premium quality printed films, a great service and ongoing innovation which is why our customers keep doing business with us. We invest in areas that will support our customers’ needs for environmentally responsible packaging that adds value throughout the supply chain – through visual impact, by extending shelf-life and improving consumer convenience.”

“This is an exciting time for our business and we’re looking forward to the next chapter under our new name – Terinex Flexibles.”
