PCI’s Ian Parsonage to headline at the Healthcare Packaging and Processing Conference
Pharmaceutical provider, PCI Pharma Services, will bring its global serialisation expertise to the stage at the Healthcare Packaging and Processing Conference, co-located with PMMI’s PACK EXPO East, in Philadelphia, USA, February 27 – March 1, 2017.
On Monday, February 27 at 11:00am EST, PCI’s Ian Parsonage, sr. director, global serialisation, will share his experience on successful serialisation strategies in a presentation entitled ‘Watch Outs, Lessons Learned and Best Practices for Global Serialization Strategy and Implementation’. He will explore solutions and real-world lessons on optimal solutions for clients large and small and advise the audience how to implement these strategies effectively. PCI has been actively serialising commercial medicines for domestic and emerging markets for over five years.
The requirements for serialised product continue to be pieced together across developed and developing countries around the globe, leaving pharmaceutical and biotech companies in a challenging position of deciding whether to manage by exception or to move more globally with a comprehensive serialisation solution.

He leads the global serialisation implementation team for the organisation’s global supply network across North America and Europe for all delivery forms. Prior to joining the serialisation project team, he held the position of head of information systems for PCI’s sites in the UK. Parsonage has extensive experience in information technology, including enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation, global IT integration, and business planning applications.
Following his presentation, PCI will be exhibiting at PACK EXPO East from February 27 – March 1 at stand number 108.
