Moisture meters for paper and board
The new Humitest moisture meters allow measurement of the water content and temperature of pile and liner paper as well as the ambient humidity to ensure quality monitoring at different stages of the transformation and the use of these materials.
To be able to measure moisture content precisely, three parameters are significant:
● representativeness of sample
● reliability of instrument used for measuring
● compliance of the operational mode by the person who measures.
Designed for reliable measurement on site, the meters are fitted with a 0.3 m long sword-sensor to measure: water content/temperature, ambient humidity/temperature, dew point, wood equilibrium moisture content, kraftliner paper and testliner absolute moisture.
