Medical bags and pouches converted on one machine
A flexible system from CMD converts pre-made medical header bags and shaped pouches in chevron peel pouch configuration on one machine. The Medical Combination Pouch System features proprietary intelligent-sealing technology on longitudinal, platen and cross sealers.
It monitors and controls critical sealing parameters of temperature, pressure and seal-time in a closed-loop configuration by a Rexroth controls system. All sealing data is collected throughout the production run and can be uploaded to a computer for statistical analysis. Sealing pressure is carefully monitored and can be set up to automatically self-correct. The system is designed for minimal changeover time from header to shaped seal pouches. Rapid-Change, tool-less seal dies are integrated throughout the sealing areas. Rubber and metal dies can be replaced in minutes.
