LIVCER acquires its first CI flexo press, a Comexi F2 MC

Comexi, a specialist providing flexible packaging industry solutions, continues to strengthen its position in the French market. The group closed a new strategic agreement with the French company LIVCER, which has purchased its first Central Drum flexo printing machine: a Comexi F2 MC.

The Comexi F2 MC flexo press is a highly versatile press that has been designed to offer clients the possibility of being high competitive with short and medium runs, thanks to its great ergonomics and changeover facility where printing speed is an important factor for increasing productivity.

Specifically, the French company chose Comexi F2 MC flexo press for its high quality printing on aluminium with water-based inks and its quick changeover times, key elements for LIVCER. The French family company is dedicated to health, pharmacy and beauty packaging market. This new press will be located in LIVCER facilities near Paris, France and will increase its print capacity and capabilities following its growth strategy in Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Spain and Italy, a part from France.

“This sale is an important purchasing that reinforce Comexi’s position as a benchmark company in the French market,” ensured Comexi’s area manager in France, Olivier Gibert.

Comexi’s senior central Europe area manager, Jordi Pujol, highlighted: “France has been one of the major markets since Comexi’s foundation in 1954. Currently, we have more than 60 CI flexo presses installed in this country, as well as other printing, laminating and slitting technologies.”

The Comexi F2 MC press has been designed to satisfy printing needs for short and medium runs in the flexible packaging field for the retail and wholesale channel. Allows print width from 870mm to 1,270mm, in eight and 10 colours and maximum repeats of 800mm. It shares the ergonomics and accessibility advances developed in F2 family presses, as well as the high performance and robustness of the rest of Comexi’s flexo press wide range.

This machine includes the most advanced electronic systems to get the best quality print even at high speeds and printing on different substrates from plastic film to paper or thicker materials as laminated films.
