KAMA and HP Indigo will present an efficient end-to-end workflow solution for folding cartons on demand at the KAMA Finishing Days 2014 which will take place in Dresden, Germany 13 and 14 November.
KAMA is announcing the launch of an innovative folder-gluer the FlexFold 52 with automatic set-up for fast changeovers from one job to the next, making it perfect for production of short runs of folding cartons. HP Indigo will be showing new features and live demos of the HP Indigo 30000 Digital Press fully equipped with inline primer and inline coating (TRESU Icoat 30000).
The event will feature the latest solutions for true-to-register finishing, inline stripping and blanking without tools as well as seminars with market leaders such as Esko and Marbach.
The Finishing Days are a celebration of KAMA’s 120th anniversary. Teodor Remus, who founded SCAMAG in 1894 (the predecessor of today’s KAMA), revolutionised the production of cardboard boxes with the invention of the creasing line. With the cutting-edge end-to-end workflow for digitally printed folding cartons and the new FlexFold 52, packaging is coming home to Dresden.
