Inkmaker Group appoints Bart Wentges as general manager of SWESA

Inkmaker Group has named Bart Wentges as new general manager of its recently-acquired dispensing company, SWESA Dosiersysteme GmbH in Eltville, Germany..

In addition to expanding SWESA into being Inkmaker Group’s premium dispensing brand, Mr Wentges will continue managing the sales of Rexson Systems and Vale-Tech — as per his previous role — as well as all the group’s brands, from the German-based office.

Mr Wentges, who has been in the dispensing industry since 1995, was previously with Vale-Tech, where he was one of the three shareholders. He later moved to Rexson Systems after it acquired Vale-Tech.

Most recently, Mr Wentges managed sales activities in Benelux, Germany and Eastern Europe for Italian-based global technology leader, Inkmaker Group, which acquired the businesses of both Vale-Tech and Rexson Systems in 2019.

“On behalf of the board, we are pleased to name, Bart Wentges, as our choice of general manager for SWESA. Mr Bart has more than 25 years of experience in the dispensing field and we are confident that, with his knowledge of the region and track record of past achievements, our group will stand to benefit substantially,” said Inkmaker Group CEO EMEA/Americas, Christophe Rizzo: “Over the recent years, Inkmaker Group has managed to successfully increase its business in Germany. Now with SWESA, a specialised German company whose customised automated dosing-systems offer great potential for expansion into new sectors, and with Bart’s involvement, our Group will look to expand that market-share within Germany, Benelux and the Eastern European countries. Additionally, with the backing of Inkmaker Group’s network and resources, we will be able offer our premium “Made-in-Germany” brand, SWESA, to clients across the globe.”

SWESA’s production facilities, located in Eltville near Frankfurt am Main, will enable Inkmaker Group to produce, sell, distribute and service all their brands directly from Germany. To meet this demand, plans are currently underway to expand the existing premises and a dedicated team of German specialists, trained in each of Inkmaker Group’s fields of interest, are on board to serve the existing and future customer base.

SWESA will continue to manufacture ink-dispensing solutions for the packaging, wood and laminating industry, providing synergistic support to Inkmaker Group, who in turn offers total-process engineering solutions – to the paint, coatings, ink and chemical industry – through its brands Inkmaker, Rexson Systems, Vale-Tech, Teko and Tecnopails.

“I am grateful to have been offered this opportunity and I greatly look forward to managing Swesa, as well as the sales for Rexson Systems’, Vale-Tech’s and all of the Groups’ brands in the area. I see it as my challenge, together with the team at Inkmaker Group, to bring all our brands to a next level,” said Mr Wentges. “Mr. Roland Steinberg has, for the nearing twenty years that he owned Swesa, built an impeccable and solid German-made brand of which I am proud to continue and build upon.”

Bart Wentges succeeds, Roland Steinberg, who, as former owner of SWESA, will stay on in an advisory role.
