Gard Chemicals are manufacturers of a comprehensive range of industrial cleaners and release agents for a variety of applications

The range covers adhesive cleaners (for both hot and cold glues), ink cleaners (for water based and solvent based) and release agents to prevent further contamination of surfaces.

The products have been developed to be highly effective, reduce downtime and improve production processes whilst providing a safer environment within the plant. “The range has numerous industry approvals and meets the tough standards required by the many blue-chip organisations that have awarded us vendor ratings of 100 per cent, taking into account quality, environmental impact, health and safety, security and technical support,” explains Jim Knox, sales director of Gard Chemicals. He continues: “These are sold direct to our large UK customer base; and also worldwide via our network of approved distributor partners, all of whom have undergone full product, technical and field training by Gard so that they can best assist and advise their customers on servicing and maintenance in order to achieve optimum performance.”

“Operator Safety is paramount to our company and all products in our range are operator safe when used as per label instructions. Gard Chemicals is registered to OHSAS 18001 Health and Safety Management and operates the Global Harmonised System (GHS) for all labelling and Safety Data Sheets,” adds Knox.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY

All products are formulated using VOC free/exempt substances wherever possible and mindful of current legislation trends, these formulations are under constant review to ensure compliance. “We operate within the Environmental Management Systems under which we are ISO 14001 Registered for the Manufacture and Supply of Maintenance Chemicals. All products are formulated to be Environmentally/ Eco Friendly whenever possible and conform to the latest environmental regulations,” concludes Knox.
