Impact Air Systems and ETI Converting announce partnership

Impact Air Systems, Leicester, UK, producer of waste and trim removal systems, and ETI Converting Equipment, a globally innovative manufacturer of in-line coating and printing equipment based in Quebec, Canada, are pleased to announce a partnership agreement for a technical and sales co-operation in the narrow web converting sector.

The two companies are complementary in the label industry. ETI has developed a technology to make labels after printing. The ETI equipment can print, siliconize, adhesive coat and die-cut all in-line. Adding Impact Air Systems’ waste and trim removal systems to the ETI equipment will allow its customers to continue label production without having to stop the machine during the change of waste rollers. This will significantly reduce label production costs and allow production to be more flexible. Since ETI has a strong desire to contribute to their client’s success, ETI will now use and propose Impact Air Systems to its customers. The modular unit will be demonstrated to all customers that visit ETI’s facility.

Impact Air Systems operate globally in the label sector, offering varying waste collection solutions to handle PSA matrix and edge trim waste. The Impact Matrix Master is designed as a packaged product to collect waste from a single label machine at up to 150m per minute, while the Impact centralised waste collection system is designed for waste collection where multiple machine pickups are connected to a main system conveying waste to a central location to be handled by either a compactor or baler.

The partnership provides clients with a seamless production for their investment, enhancing productivity and minimising downtime.
