The Graphic Packaging International identity has now been rolled out across all former Benson Group assets and representatives from GPI’s Board visited the UK at the end of May for a tour of the Bardon and Gateshead sites. Seven sites in total were visited on the week long European tour.
The final piece of the jigsaw, the Benson Group website, is now re-branded as Graphic Packaging Europe and features information about the food and beverage packaging produced across the eleven European sites.
Dr Helene Roberts, marketing, design & innovation director Europe, commented: “Today is much more than just re-branding the Benson name. The whole group is now totally unified within the Graphic Packaging International brand, and we’re already seeing the benefits of being part of such a forward thinking global organisation; the investment in our sites, the exchange of ideas and innovations between the US and Europe, and the opportunities they present mean that Graphic Packaging International has a very bright future.”
More exciting news is to come in July, when the third Graphic Packaging International Global Innovation Centre – a cutting edge centre for packaging design and innovation – is due to open in Bardon, Leicestershire.
