Graphic Open Systems wins Romanian Award

Graphic Open Systems (GOS), the Brasov based distributor for a number of leading international manufacturing principals, picked up one of the prestigious Romanian Packaging Awards at a ceremony held during Pack Expo 2018 in Bucharest this week.  The Diploma of Excellence Award, presented by Euroexpo Fairs/Romexpo, for ‘The Best Provider of Complex Printing Solutions’ was received by husband and wife owner/directors of GOS, Sebastian and Adriana Boureanu, who have seen their business grow from two people in 1994 to the present situation that employs 12 and enjoys a sales turnover in excess of €1.8m.

Speaking for GOS, Sebastian Boureanu commented: “This is a reward for the hard work our company has put in to building a diverse and quality portfolio of products, and the expertise and after sales support offered by our principals.  Adriana and I are very proud of what we have all achieved at GOS and will continue to offer our valued customers the best service we can.”

GOS used the exhibition to introduce its next generation of management, with Sebastian Boureanu junior joining the company and bringing a wealth of accounting and corporate management experience to the business.  “We are delighted that our son has joined us GOS and are confident that he will take the business forward for the benefit of all our customers and principals,” said Adriana.

Pack Expo Romania, which is held in alternate years, attracts visitors from all over south east Europe and provides a valuable forum for printers and converters in this rapidly growing region.  “There is a thirst for knowledge in the area, so we appreciate the support that our key principals like Mark Andy and Comexi, as well as leading ancillary suppliers Esko, Rotometrics, and Dupont give us at the expo,” concluded Sebastian.
