Golden Eagle Extrusions, Inc. Invests in 3rd ASHE Slitter Rewinder
Since 1978, Golden Eagle Extrusions, Inc. of Milford, OH has been a leading-edge supplier of flexible packaging to the food, beverage and food container industries.
The company has the ability to identify new innovations in flexible packaging and successfully apply them to suit their specific customer’s requirements.
Golden Eagle supplies custom film laminations, coextruded films and bags, ovenable and specialty lidding films, hot needle perforated films, and custom print.
Golden Eagle has emerged as an industry leader in customized lidding structures, offering films that weld or peel to any structure for virtually any application.
The majority of materials supplied by the group must be slit and rewound before being shipped to their customers. Along with other leading technology utilized by the group, they are proud to have their slitting and rewinding machinery supplied by ASHE Converting Equipment.
The company already has two slitting machines provided by ASHE and have recently invested in their third machine. Their latest investment is the Diamond model slitter rewinder, which can process all of the materials the company supplies at a maximum width of 65” (1650mm).
ASHE Converting Equipment are a leading supplier of innovative slitting and rewinding machinery with over 1200 machines installed throughout the world. The company have recently undergone a significant expansion phase with the investment in our US subsidiary based in Vermont. Mr. Guy Carrington, who has been with ASHE for over 25 years has been working closely with Chad Weikert, CEO of Golden Eagle, for a number of years and has seen the expansion of the company over recent years.
ASHE are able to service and supply spare parts for all machines installed in the US from our facility in Vermont with an inventory of ASHE parts and our own service personnel. We have also recruited additional sales personnel, with the latest recruit being Mr. Zlatko Vujic.
Along with this, the company’s headquarters in the UK has recently undergone a 50% expansion in floorspace along with a large investment in its machine tool department which helps achieve the goal of manufacturing most machine parts ‘in house’.
