German sale for Edale
MANUFACTURER OF narrow web printing and converting presses Edale says that that Bossert, the label specialist, has chosen to install another Edale Alpha at its premises in Germany.
An important factor in Kling’s decision to purchase an Alpha is said to be the recent development of the Alpha-Multi, launched in March 2010. The Alpha-Multi enables existing Edale Alpha customers to ‘upgrade’ their machines with a second stack, allowing companies to print up to nine colours in a footprint of just 5m2. For Kling, this meant that the business could grow on the same flexo press concept with a staggered investment approach when the time comes to expand.
The current economic climate has given the Edale Alpha a huge lift, claims the company, because it highlights the commercial and productivity advantages of its equipment in a very price conscious environment. This is reinforced by the news of recent Alpha installations in Italy, Poland and Iran.
