First flexo press in Belarus

BOBRUISK IPH Nepogodin, one of the oldest printing houses in the Republic of Belarus, has become the first company in Belarus to own a fully servo driven flexo press – in the form of an Edale Gamma.

Bobruisk Integrated Printing House is a leading, modern printing production specialising in the development and printing of a wide range of printed forms and high-security documents. It covers an entire range of printing processes from offset, flexographic, screen and digital – and are already owns five colour Alpha, Edale’s compact flexo press used for the production of travel tickets.

When the need for a new larger and more modular press arose, Bobruisk went out to tender to several machine manufacturers, but decided that Edale offered the best technical solution.  The company purchased the 430mm wide, eight colour Gamma machine for a range of packaging applications including folding carton, labels and unsupported film and chose the Gamma as it can provide flexibility for a wide range of different substrates from 12micron-600 micron.

Boris Shagovaleyev from Tusson, Edale’s distributor for Belarus, says “Edale has a number of machines out here and they are proven to be easy to maintain. The quick job change and minimum waste features of the Gamma were unbeatable against the competition. I am glad to have been involved with the sale of the first servo driven press in Belarus!”
