Finishing solution for multiple substrates
OPM Group recently installed an Elite Multiflex – Bar Graphic Machinery’s (BGM) solution to the problem encountered by many flexible packaging printers – the finishing of the product. The Multiflex has been specially designed to excel in perfectly finishing supported and unsupported multiple substrates. The installation coincides with the installation of another FA4 series full servo Nilpeter press.
“Over the past decade we have constantly invested in state of the art printing technology, enabling us to be at the forefront of print and flexible packaging solutions,” comments managing director Chris Ellison.

For some time now we have had the requirements for a machine capable of finishing multiple substrates, one of our major requirements being the finished profile of the roll.
After demonstrations from other finishing machine manufacturers, our decision was easily made when we visited BGM and viewed a demonstration on the latest Elite Multiflex with several of our bespoke products, achieving outstanding profiles and speeds. One week prior to Label Expo we placed an order for another Multiflex.“
