Exclusive to A. Warne & Co, the company is now offering RPET film (recycled PET) as an innovative solution for customers looking to identify a sustainable alternative for broad use packaging. Additionally, the exceptionally stable and food-approved solution is made from a minimum of 30 per cent post-consumer waste, with some grades available with 80 per cent post consumer waste.
With RPET quickly becoming the first choice for plastic packaging, a number of alternative green solutions are being provided by the company, including standard and anti-mist coated PLA, which are made from renewable corn starch. PLA has experienced a rapid uptake as a preferred option, due in part to the production process using up to 50 per cent less fossil fuel than conventional film. Both biodegradable and compostable, A. Warne provides PLA for use in window cartons, packaging, graphic arts and even stationary.
