Davis Standard designs, develops and manufactures aqueous and solvent solution coating and laminating equipment for many applications including medical, pharmaceutical, electronic displays, solar cells, window protection, battery, release & adhesive tapes, and graphite composite to name just a few. A wide range of coaters and coating heads like the Series 4000 cartridge coater offers maximum flexibility with changeovers in 15 minutes or less.
Additional cartridges can be added for process changes or to maximize uptime with off-line cleaning. Over 50 coating configurations are available. Custom engineering and R&D capabilities enables the company to build equipment specific to a customer’s needs.
Davis-Standard’s research & technical center houses two coating laboratories (with tandem coating) capable of operating speeds up to 3000 FPM (914 mpm) and widths up to 36 inches (914 mm). With a worldwide support structure and a team that offers many years of experience, Davis-Standard can supply custom products tailored to meet individual needs.
