C&T Channel Matrix, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of creasing matrix, has announced the launch of a brand new type of Pertinax Counter Sheet for carton manufacturing, Countamat, at drupa in Hall 10 stand B52.
Countamat is a high quality durable counter material that offers cleaner cutting, longevity and antistatic properties. It can be easily milled, and has superior dimensional stability. Supplied as 1,070 x 1,040mm sheets, Countamat is a new type of counter die material consisting of a two layer fine woven glass cloth. The dense cloth weave insures durability on press and clean channel cutting, whilst also helping to extend the life of the tool.
Developed by C&T Channel for cleaner routing and long run durability, Countamat is available with or without C&T Channel’s easy peelable adhesive backing. It is a tried and trusted product with a number of distributors and customers ranging from pharmaceutical, food and beverage, tobacco and cosmetic packaging users.
Simon Shenton, managing director at C&T Matrix, said: “Countamat comes in a range of thicknesses and its superior stability and durability makes it ideal for long run packaging work. We already have a number of customers using Countamat who have been delighted with the results, especially the quality and control of the crease. We will be using drupa to demonstrate Countamat’s credentials and how C&T’s extended portfolio is enabling customers to purchase everything required for cutting and creasing from one leading manufacturer and stockist.”
