Comexi at Interpack 2017
Comexi will be presenting its wide range of printing and converting solutions at Interpack 2017 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
On its stand, located at Hall 13 Booth D67, the group will showcase its latest technologies developed in response to converters market needs, and trends in the flexible packaging industry.
“Interpack 2017 is an excellent opportunity for us to talk with our clients and potential customers and show, once again, our wide portfolio of equipment and technologies that meet the demands of food, beverage, confectionary, bakery, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, non-food packaging and all industrial goods sectors,” explains Comexi’s Marketing Director, David Centelles.
Comexi will participate at Interpack after last year’s success at the Drupa and K trade fairs, where visitors discovered Comexi’s new flexo press F1, Comexi CI8 offset press and gravure press Comexi R2, integrating some of the latest innovations into industry 4.0.
Alongside these solutions, visitors will have the opportunity to discover the latest printing machine developed by the group: Comexi F2 ML flexo press, a solution for high volume markets, designed to get the best quality at high speeds with large repeats. This is a flexographic printing press that provides profitability and versatility whilst maintaining the ergonomics and usability features of all Comexi F2 flexo presses.
Visitors will be able to talk about laminating solutions with and without solvents, like the Comexi ML1 and Comexi SL2. These solutions provide the high standards that the market requires, such as productivity and efficiency, ease of use, quick changes and reliability. Comexi will demonstrate its technical solutions for heat seal coating and varnishes with barrier properties and cold seal. “Comexi’s lamination solutions are the fastest growing division in the group, doubling the number of machines sold in the last four years”, assures Comexi’s laminating brand manager, Carles Rodríguez.
During the fair, Comexi will be also showing the L20000, a water-based laminating machine designed to solve digital printing requests. It is more sustainable and efficient, eliminating the solvent through its water-base lamination, without renouncing high performance.
There will also be the chance to find out more about Comexi Cingular Laser that can be assimilated online with its machines and which guarantees accuracy in drilling applications, selective layer slit, easy-opens, numbering and text creation.
During Interpack, Comexi will receive the WorldStar Award 2017 for the most outstanding innovation of the year in packaging processes and/or machinery. The group won this prize for its combination of Cingular Laser technology and lamination in register that saves on production, machinery and energy costs, as it simplifies the process of creating a window in a packaging.
