Hall 5 Stand D41
At Labelexpo Europe 2015, UPM Raflatac introduces a line-up of services and solutions that will give a boost to everything that is important in today’s competitive business environment of label converters and brand owners: productivity, product performance, brand performance and environmental performance – and ultimately – profitability.
UPM Raflatac’s high-tack RX 15 marks the launch of a new catalyst activated adhesive technology for challenging applications like durable goods, electronics and automotive labelling where solvent adhesives were previously the only alternative. RX 15 also reduces the environmental impacts of labels in categories including energy consumption, water usage and carbon emissions. It provides label industry stakeholders the benefits of going solvent-free, while meeting and exceeding the highest demands for durable and resilient performance.
At the Labelexpo show, September 29 – October 2 in Brussels, UPM Raflatac will also introduce VANISH for the European market. At 23-microns, these ultra-thin PET label faces are perfect for the ultimate no-label look in food, beverage and personal care labelling. VANISH boosts productivity with longer runs, trouble-free converting, and more efficient transport and storage. Not to mention the positive boost to a product’s brand image enabled by previously unattainable designs and shapes. There will be a live demonstration of VANISH application running on the UPM Raflatac stand throughout the show.
Also highlighted is the renewed range of label stocks for digital Print-on-Demand with laser/LED or inkjet technology. Short to medium-volume print-runs ‘on demand’ is an extremely flexible solution for producing high-quality colour labels for product labelling and promotion. UPM Raflatac’s Print-on-Demand range answers this demand with water-resistant paper and film combinations specified for particular segments and digital flexibility. Labelexpo visitors can see a variety of standard and special materials performing live and on-demand on Epson and UniNet printers.
UPM Raflatac’s Label Life concept goes positive at Labelexpo, too. Visitors can meet the sustainability experts to learn how choice of label materials can help printers and brand owners boost their environmental performance. Pioneering Label Life case studies demonstrate the ecosystem service benefits associated with choosing UPM Raflatac’s FIT paper label solutions, which not only reduce environmental footprint and boost productivity, but also have a positive effect through promoting the sustainable management of forests.
