Bimec enlarge their salvage rewinder range
For almost 40 years Bimec have specialised in the design and construction of slitter rewinders and are well known for their innovative range of duplex slitter rewinders and ancillary equipment.
Bimec has recently introduced the BDM-L, their latest reversible salvage rewinder machine.
The BDM-L has been designed for the inspection and cleaning of jumbo rolls having defects from printing, extrusion and of inclusions.
The machine features shaftless unwinding and rewinding , bidirectional system in rewinding in order to recover the roll to the original condition and offset pivot bidirectional web guide.
The machine can be supplied with several inspection devices:
–Â Â Â Â Â inspection video cameras,
–Â Â Â Â Â software systems allowing the revision and management of registers produced from video camera systems,
–Â Â Â Â Â labelling systems for error marking
It can be customized on the base of the customer specific needs.
The latest model BDM-L that has been recently delivered to an Italian customer features a web width of 1800mm, unwind diameter of 1000mm, rewind diameter of 1000mm and a maximum machine speed of 600m/min.
